From communication to coaching skills.

Practicing Coaching - upskilling yourself in working with people.

Have you been flirting with coaching and would you like to finally get the hang of it?

Have you been working as a coach for a while and would you like to refresh your coaching skills?

This 7-day program offers you an (embodied) hands-on coaching experience that will enable you to develop and adjust your skills as a coach and boost your growth as a coachee.

Is Practicing Coaching for me?

Practicing Coaching is excellently suited for anyone who wants to strengthen his or her coaching skills and apply them in various contexts while working with people.

Either you approach it as

  • a one-to-one session,
  • an individual intervention during your training course,
  • a meaningful conversation with one of your students,
  • a diagnostic meeting with your team members,
  • a support offering to your beneficiary,

with coaching techniques, you are more likely to make a real impact in people’s lives.

No matter your profession, coaching means growth for yourself and for others.

This training is for you if you want to:

  • stimulate, challenge, and inspire others;
  • better assist people with finding clarity, purpose, or even their calling;
  • know how to empower people to lead healthier, more well-balanced lives;
  • help people identify their blind spots or what pulls them back from their great projects;
  • boost people’s performance and their working vitality;
  • guide people in their process of navigating difficult moments;
  • embark on a 2 ways journey working with others and with yourself at the same time;
  • discover your style and be able to coach in a natural and authentic way;
Coaching is certainly one of the future skills.

It`s a personal and professional tool that allows you to create impulses for others, thus supporting them in their growth.

The direction is up to them, you are only guiding the process.

Therefore, coaching is considered to be a new human-interaction asset that influences how we understand, support, and pull each other up as we climb.

Inception training

How do we know that the training is impactful?

We look at various ways in which it shapes you (personally and professionally) and we design working forms that you can easily use later on.

This is also the reason why we put focus on applying from the beginning.

Throughout this training, you will be immersed in different levels of learning at the same time: you as a professional/coach,  you as an individual/coachee, and you as a peer member.

And all these inner positions will play an important role within a safe, dynamic, and playful context.

Embodied approach

The way we connect to each other in any context goes beyond words and excluding the body from the coaching process is like inviting the sun in through a tiny window.

By constantly checking your sensations, observing the movement, and feeling the rhythm of yourself or of the other, you can allow much more to be revealed and much more space for change to happen.

And there will be plenty of time for you to develop this.

As we always walk our talk, every part of the training is coloured with embodied exercises so you can have a direct experience and gain confidence to use embodiment later on.

We offer everything, you choose

A variety of tools, techniques, and methods will be presented. From the core ones to the innovative ones.

A technique becomes a skill through practice thus you will have this opportunity and will be able to choose which one you will add to your personal style whenever you coach.

In the end, it’s not about collecting, it’s about selecting the ones that fit you the most.

Sandwich method

We are clever and we take care that the information lands first in your body.

Once the body has it, it naturally comes up to your rational reasoning through countless practice sessions.

This means we serve tasty and digestible sandwiches that look like this: embodiment - input - coaching practice.

What will you gain as a participant?

  • Refresh your coaching skills, and work with them
  • Practice in-depth observing, connecting, and questioning skills
  • Discover the three basic ways you can make an intervention
  • Develop an effective embodied coaching behaviour
  • Detect and handle resistance
  • Identify your own obstacles and learn how to turn them into stepping stones
  • Explore the opportunity to coach and be coached

  • Advance your coaching style while working with peer coaches

  • "I am better at listening to others without jumping to conclusions and experience less of this burning feeling of having to solve someone else's problems."

    - Ilze Ozola, journalist and coach

  • "Learning interesting new things about myself and the way I cope, makes me feel more comfortable to not be afraid to express myself and be seen by others."

    - Eleanna Mavrofrydi, Visual artist

  • "I've discovered several things: coaching is my passion, different coaching tools and techniques, ability to listen is very important, I'm quite sensitive to other people. Coaching is a very good tool to work with goals and for diagnostics."

    - Andrii Suslenko, Communications specialist

  • "I use the coaching techniques when I hit communication roadblocks with close people, to get unstuck without reaching an argument. Also when a friend shares a difficulty I try to take the conversation to a constructive place where my friend gets ideas on next steps without giving advice as I usually would. Also when talking to myself, I watch if I don't put myself in a victim's position and strive to gain ownership of the situation."

    - Nora Georgieva, Marketing Expert

  • "It inspired me to study coaching further and deepen my knowledge in this field. The practicality and the coaching assignments that we had during the training made me realize what is the style that suits me the best."

    - Kiry Noémi Ambrus, trainer and coach

  • "The skills I learned are useful to be able to listen and help others around me to find the right solution for their situation. I make sure that at least every week I spend some time with my older son to listen to his issues and help him deal with challenges. With my daughter  I do some coaching while we play or tell her stories. My students also benefit from the coaching skills I gained."

    - Andy Bugeja, Lecturer

  • "I am better at listening to others without jumping to conclusions or this burning feeling of "I need to solve all your problems!"

    - Ilze Ozola, project manager & journalist

  • "Recently I started to have communication and cooperation trainings for companies, where my coaching knowledge supports me a lot in working with them towards their goals. I also held some workshops for young adults on personal development, where I used coaching to help each individual to make the next step towards their dreams."

    - Marton Laura, trainer

  • "I took more coachees after I came back from the training and I made my own coach page to build a reputation. I am also presenting myself as a coach now in my network. "

    - Roxana Bucur - teacher, coach and researcher

  • "The most relevant experience of the training that I implement in my life is giving feedback/building conversations with people, both in my professional and personal life."

    - Anne Smeets, student

  • "I got a great introduction about the  body empowerment and contact exercises which can be an asset tool for coaching sessions and I learned how to work with people in a limited amount of time and how to lead myself into the right questions."

    - Vasiliki Koutrouli, Artist

  • "The Coaching and Mentoring Training supported me greatly in developing my own approach as a coach. I gained a lot of clarity about my assumptions, goals and strategy. At the same time, the training furthered my personal development as it helped me to become aware of many blind spots and patterns in my thinking and behavior."

    - Simon Kornhäusl, Change Facilitator

  • "I thought it first to be a traditional type of delivering training with might be some of interesting exercises and active interaction within, but discovered that those who are behind tailoring that program were actually designing a whole different life experience! An experience to pass-over differences of people in terms of mindset, cultural aspects, values & beliefs, perceptions, behavior and how to do such a bridge though in short time but effective and rich thorough the well chosen tools, techniques and exercises which led the program to personally impact my character and sharpening my vision and outlook into things."

The trainers of this course:

Marko Vlaming

Youth worker, Head Trainer and Director

Marko started 25 years ago as a youth worker after obtaining his university degree in social and cultural work. Besides doing youth work and trainings, he uses coaching approaches in his daily work. In the last 12 years he developed into an all-round coach. Learning by experience as a method in coaching created a coaching approach that is very focused on working in the here and now. In his practice he works a lot with on-the-job coaching, supporting people to build up their life dream in the way they create fulfilment in their lives, using a wide spectrum of coaching methods and techniques that are currently available.

Krisztina Erdélyi

Educator, Trainer, Learning designer, Youth worker

For me, learning is a constant flow, it is always in motion: has different shapes, offers continuous insights and is present all around as long as we welcome it. These thoughts inspire me while working as a freelance trainer and project designer, while creating playful and dynamic learning frames for groups and individuals.
Working from and with this movement has always been exciting for me… it is the essence of my professional practice and it keeps leading me towards new and impactful discoveries (whether I’m facilitating a coaching conversation, delivering a training program or guiding a team of professionals).

Alina Porumboiu

Psychotherapist, Trainer and Coach

The fascination for moments of change, courage, and connection has been the guiding force towards working with people (young and adults) in the context of coaching and therapy. I often find myself immersed in an interaction, creating space for new perspectives to arise. There has been a constant curiosity about relationships (couple, parent-child, work-related and between inner parts) for as long as I can remember. I like to listen with all my body to the story behind the words and with kind sharpness to invite to a deeper delving.

“When there is an urge to make everything stop, better make it move."
