Wider Horizon EVS – Encourages Youth Employability

Olde Vechte encourages Youth Employability, through its European Voluntary Service Projects.

Wider Horizon is the short term EVS programme, taking place every summer in Ommen.

For 2 months, young volunteers have the opportunity to get to know new cultures, gain new knowledge and international work experience.

Part of their volunteering experience is working at organizations in and around Ommen and getting acquainted with non-formal and informal learning.

Since beginning of May, Olde Vechte has welcomed 16 enthusiastic volunteers from 11 countries around Europe.
